Reception is open Monday to Friday, 8.00am until 6.30pm. The telephone lines are often very busy first thing in the morning but are usually quieter after 9am.

If you prefer to see a particular doctor, or want an appointment at a specific time, please tell us when you phone.

Advance

10 minutes

They are available every day, both mornings and afternoons, and are available to book up to 3 weeks in advance.

Try to book well in advance if you need to see a particular doctor or require a particular day or time.

Telephone

5 minutes

These are especially useful for follow-up appointments or for discussing test results - but can be used for any problem where a physical examination is not required.

These are booked just like any other appointment. Leave your telephone number, and the doctor will ring you back.

Same day

10 minutes

These can only be booked on the day (or from midnight online.)

We may not be able to offer you your first choice of doctor or time, but as long as you phone before 9.30am, we guarantee that you will be seen that day.

Emergency

5 -10 minutes

These are added on to a doctor’s fully booked surgery to accommodate urgent medical problems.
