Bingley Medical Practice is an NHS GP surgery - the largest in Bingley, providing 12,000 local people with comprehensive, high quality health care.
We offer a full range of GP services, including on site blood tests, ECG’s, minor surgery, and direct access to GP specialists in skin conditions, and sports and joint problems.
We are also a teaching practice, educating medical students from the University of Leeds, and doctors training to become GPs.
We are proud of our high quality care: we regularly achieve 100% scores in the NHS Quality & Outcomes Framework. We are highly rated by our patients too, coming in the top 5 off all GP's across the whole of Bradford and Airedale: you can read our results in the annual national GP Patient survey.
We are based at the purpose built Canalside Health Care Centre, and serve Bingley, Gilstead, Eldwick, Cottingley, Crossflatts, East Morton and Riddlesden.
The practice is situated in a modern building with facilities for those with mobility or sensory issues or other needs.
If you have any additional needs regarding accessing care then please let our patient assistant team know and we will do our best to support you.
All the patients at the Practice have a nominal "named GP", following an NHS England directive. You can contact reception should you wish to know who you've have been allocated to. However, our patients remain free to see whichever GP they choose.
We are keen that patients see their usual (or currently involved) GP and when arranging appointmentment we will try to engineer this whenever this is practicable.
When making an appointment please ask the receptionist if you wish to see a particular Doctor, so they can arrange this accordingly.
